It is important for us to ensure that our residents have full, stimulating and satisfying lives. This includes a varied day care programme, involving many different activities, and regular outings into the community

We also strive to ensure each resident feels valued and respected at all times. Managers and staff actively promote residents rights, choice, independence, privacy, dignity and respect.
With this approach, we are confident that Castleview delivers the best possible quality care to all of our residents.
Day Care
We provide a varied daily activity and daycare programme. Our facilities include a craft/daycare room where some of our residents choose to do art and craftwork, puzzles, knitting, music and board games. Other activities include music and relaxation, light therapy and we have a sensory stimulation and soft equipment area (snozelen room).
Alternative Therapies
To assist with the home’s social programme, we have a Music Therapist, an Aromatherapist and a Reflexologist, all who visit on a weekly basis. A hydrotherapy bath is also available for therapeutic purposes.
Our residents also visit local the hairdressers although when necessary we can arrange for a hairdresser to visit Castleview. We can also arrange contacts with Psychiatry and Psychology Consultations, Podiatry, Speech and Language Therapy, Dental and Optician Services.
Any other service or requirement can also be arranged.
